1. Ravioli. This type is always in Italy. Served usually in broth or with pasta sauce, Ravioli can be wrapped with anything from meat to cheese to vegetables. They are typically square in shape.
 
2. Pierogi. This type mainly appears in Central and Eastern Europe, it can be stuffed with potato, minced meat, cheese, fruit or vegetable. They're usually boiled, then pan-fried in butter with onions.
 
3. Tiropitakia. These little cheese-filled triangles are popular in Greece. These can be savoury or sweet, depending on the filing.
 
4. Mandu.It is a dumpling in Korean cuisine. Served usually with Kimchi, their stuffing is of meat, tofu, green onions, etc. they are often folded into circular shapes.
 
5. Samosa. It's very similar to tiropitakia. It is a popular entrée, appetizer, or snack in the local cuisines of the Indian subcontinent, Western Asia, Southeast Asia, the Mediterranean, and Africa. It always filled with potatoes, onions, peas, meat, etc.
